Recently, the National Eco-Environmental Technology Achievement Transformation Comprehensive Service Platform released its fourth batch of included technologies. The CGAS Circulating Fluidized Bed Coal Gasification Technology, developed by CAS Hefei Gasification Technology Co., Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as ZHGAS), has been successfully selected.
The National Eco-Environmental Technology Achievement Platform was established under the guidance of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment (MEE) and developed by the MEE Environmental Development Center. It serves as a national-level hub for transforming eco-environmental scientific achievements,supporting governmental environmental management, corporate pollution control, and the growth of the environmental protection industry. The platform integrates online consulting with offline services, bridges supply-demand gaps in environmental governance, and synergizes expertise with technological solutions.
The CGAS-CFB technology offers core advantages including:

It has achieved breakthroughs in high-carbon cycling and energy cycling, constructing a high-recycle loop that couples concentrated carbon circulation with system energy cycling. This enables clean, efficient,and low-cost gasification of pulverized coal under moderate conditions.
As the industrial platform for the CAS "Hongguang Initiative" (focused on CGAS technology industrialization), ZHGAS has successfully applied CGAS in coal-to-syngas and clean coal gas production across industries.The company has established multiple high-impact demonstration projects delivering economic, social, and environmental benefits.
