From November 22 to 23, 2024, the "Special Symposium on Flexible Operation and Maintenance Retrofitting Technology for Circulating Fluidized Bed (CFB) Boiler Units", jointly organized by China Circulating Fluidized Bed Power Generation Network, Tsinghua University Department of Energy and Power Engineering, Institute of Engineering Thermophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences and other units, was held in Nanjing.

From November 22 to 23, 2024, the "Special Symposium on Flexible Operation and Maintenance Retrofitting Technology for Circulating Fluidized Bed (CFB) Boiler Units", jointly organized by China Circulating Fluidized Bed Power Generation Network, Tsinghua University Department of Energy and Power Engineering, Institute of Engineering Thermophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences and other units, was held in Nanjing.

Bao Shaolin, Research Fellow and technical support expert from Zhongke Hefei Coal Gasification Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "ZHGAS"), was invited to attend the meeting and delivered a keynote report titled "Key Technology R&D and Engineering Application Practices for Ash and Slag Waste Incineration".


In his report, Researcher Bao Shaolin introduced the latest progress in engineering research on the utilization of gasification fine slag from atmospheric gasifiers and ash/slag from entrained-flow gasifiers, achieved through the collaborative efforts of Zhonghe Gasification and its technical support partner, the Institute of Engineering Thermophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He provided an in-depth explanation of the application effectiveness of gasification ash/slag solid waste in practical operations. Zhonghe Gasification will join hands with the Institute of Engineering Thermophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, to continuously promote technological innovation, dedicated to constantly improving the utilization efficiency of coal energy, and actively guiding the coal chemical industry towards a new stage of green, low-carbon, and high-quality development.
